Miami Beach, FL — June 26–29, 2025 — At the International Meeting of Rhinoplasty Societies (IMRhiS) in Miami, Marina Medical Instruments and W&H announced an exclusive distribution partnership centered on W&H’s Piezomed Pro ultrasonic bone surgery module combined with their Amadeo motor — the W&H Piezo & Drill Combination Console. This combination of a powerful surgical motor and innovative piezo technology brings together the best of both worlds. This modularity offers a high level of control during surgical procedures, for precision osteotomies and efficient OR workflow in facial plastics, ENT, and craniomaxillofacial (CMF) surgery. It is the only FDA cleared medical piezo/drill combination console in the U.S.
What’s launching with Marina Medical
· Piezo & Drill Combination Console — The Piezomed Pro’s advanced piezo technology delivers high-frequency micro-vibrations for precise, selective bone cutting with minimal soft-tissue impact. Featuring integrated cooling and an ergonomic handpiece, it ensures optimal control and comfort. Paired with the Amadeo surgical motor, the Piezo & Drill Combination Console provides seamless power and precision—minimizing trauma while maximizing surgical performance.
· Rhinoplasty & CMF Tip Sets — Three surgeon-collaborated kits: CMF Set, Rhino Basic (open approach), and Rhino Advanced (closed approach)—plus 25+ individual instruments for indication-specific control.
· Amadeo Surgical Motor (sold separately) — Standalone or paired with Piezomed Pro under the Piezo & Drill Combination Console umbrella; 200–40,000 rpm speed range, max motor torque 6.2 Ncm, ≥90 ml/min coolant at 100%, 7.7 lbs console, and wired/wireless foot control options.
· W&H Lexa Sterilizer — Designed for medium/larger loads; closed-door, vacuum-assisted drying with HEPA filter and fresh water for each cycle; can sterilize & dry up to 18 lbs in ~30 minutes with customizable drying times.
