Sunrise, FL – Marina Medical supports the short-term disaster relief medical missions now through June by matching donations made by its customers to ISAPS-LEAP Surgical Relief Teams. When Marina Medical customers donate to the ISAPS-LEAP effort, the portion of that donation earmarked for instruments will be doubled through the months of April, May and June 2015.
“We are asking our customers and friends to join Marina Medical, to help us champion the surgeons and dedicated volunteers of the ISAPS-LEAP Surgical Relief Teams by donating today,” said Alexander Barron Marina Medical CEO. “Marina Medical is proud to do its part throughout the year to support the selfless work of the SRT program.”
The joint collaboration between the International Society of Aesthetic Plastic Surgery (ISAPS) and the Life Enhancement Association for People (LEAP) provides training, equipment and support to deploy Surgical Relief Teams© (SRT). These specialized teams of highly-skilled plastic and reconstructive surgeons travel around the world to help victims of short-term disasters suffering from devastating injuries to the extremities, hands and face.
Teams are represented by countries around the world including the US, Jordan, Saudi Arabia, France, Czech Republic, Slovak Republic, Spain, Ireland, United Arab Emirates, Brazil, Portugal, Canada and Norway.
